Just wanna congrat 3 couples... Haha
1. Royston & Jolene on their engagement today -- Sorry, can't make it for your engagement today...
2. Tao Liang & Jan on their wedding this Thursday -- Yeahness!!! I can make it for their wedding!
3. Sonny & Kathy on the birth of their first child!
I hope the overall sound system of the church main auditorium for worship had improved this morning..
There was a professional "sound technician" who tweak the sound yesterday but I could not really enjoyed the sound system because today I was behind the drums and my ear monitor does not feed from the house...
Dang...

Haha...
When I was younger (well, not that much younger- maybe 15,16 yo?)...
I wanted to be a Christian Singer/Songwriter...
kKz... Soon after I recorded my own first singing... I realised I can't sing so yea, take away the singer part...
I wanted to be a Christian Songwriter!
Haha, but then I had hard time writing songs too... especially getting chords to the songs I composed...
I could magically sing out the melody and lyrics (Haha, most of the time while showering in the toilet),
but then it will take quite long for me to find out the chords then after a while, I will suddenly forget the song...
However for some songs, I took the effort to write it down in some notebook and recently, I managed to find them...
And decided to showcase one of them...
The song which I gonna present was probably the very first song I composed...
It's called "My Friend"
In this song, I wanted to express how Jesus is my friend too...
Even though God is in Heaven and I on Earth... Jesus HAS bridged that gap!
And yes... Even though Jesus is my God, my Lord, my King, my Master...
Jesus wants to be my friend too...
And that's how I came to this song...
Well, this version is abit different from my original one...
I changed the lyrics of the verse abit because the original one was abit "lacking"... But the chorus and bridge were the same (And yes, I loved the bridge)
So yea, this was refurbished
Recorded it earlier this year with only Guitar and Voice...
Send it to Gerald for his opinions on the song.
And now I am presenting it to you

And then there was yesterday's night BBQ for Tao Liang & Jan, My Bro farewell which went all the way til 3am...

To my bro... 9 months til I see you again
Then today me and a couple of friends went to jam at wee lee...
We were playing jazz... Not bad for the 1st time...
