Monday, August 20, 2007 Sometimes, We are stuck in the Middle The Sadness of knowing I'm not where I should be and the numbness that sets in can be devastating. BUT KNOW THIS- GOD LOVES, HEALS, and RESTORES! Galatians 5:1 - It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Isaiah 50:10 - Who among you fears the LORD and obeys the word of his servant? Let him who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the LORD and rely on his God. Matthew 12:30 - He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters. Somewhere between the hot and the cold Somewhere between the new and the old Somewhere between who I am and who I used to be Somewhere in the middle, You'll find me Somewhere between the wrong and the right Somewhere between the darkness and light Somewhere between who I was and who You're making me Somewhere in the middle, You'll find me Just how close can I get, Lord, to my surrender without losing all control Fearless warriors in a picket fence, reckless abandon wrapped in common sense Deep water faith in the shallow end and we are caught in the middle With eyes wide open to the differences, the God we want and the God who is But will we trade our dreams for His or are we caught in the middle Are we caught in the middle? Somewhere between my heart and my hands Somewhere between my faith and my plans Somewhere between the safety of the boat and the crashing waves Somewhere between a whisper and a roar Somewhere between the altar and the door Somewhere between contented peace and always wanting more Somewhere in the middle You'll find me Just how close can I get, Lord, to my surrender without losing all control Fearless warriors in a picket fence, reckless abandon wrapped in common sense Deep water faith in the shallow end and we are caught in the middle With eyes wide open to the differences, the God we want and the God who is But will we trade our dreams for His or are we caught in the middle Lord I feel You in this place and I know You're by my side Loving me even on these nights when I'm caught in the Middle.. It is our nation's 42nd Birthday... And let us continue to pray for our nation! 8 August 2007 School was like quite cool today... Firstly, We were allowed to come to school in RED(or WHITE) and in JEANS!!! Honestly, the games we had in school were actually quite fun! Fistly, there was a life-size "MINESWEEPER" Then there was a SINGING competition in the Audi Last, was the FACE-PAINTING competition... BUT we never go for that one.... LOLZ, all of us like ran away from that... We also did not go for our college's national day in the hall... HAHA, I saw a glipse of the concert from outside the hall... Didn't seem fun... DANG ... We still had MATH! remedial after the whole celebration. But THANK GOD... I'm not in the "jia lat" category so I can leave after the vectors tutorial... Ron and me later went to parkway parade to play pool...DANG... he won me 6-5 games. I actually won the first 3 games at first... but I think after that I slack... So Sianz... We later met up with Bao Sheng,Rong Sheng and Jin Xiang at Katong Shopping Centre... They went to play LAN but I left cuz need to come home quickly... The Simei G12 had our usual G12 time but with the not usual PRAYING THROUGH after that... It was a great time to pray together for our nation. Lolz... Joy came in like 9.30pm cuz she rushed down all the way from NTU We ended prayer at 10.30pm... And we all went out for supper together... WENT TO BEDOK 85 And SURPRISE! SURPRISE! ... We saw Bedok G12 there. They are having Movie Marathon after that... Haha... Alot of jokes by Alvin and Yireng... Can't explain here... Haiz... And Lastly, Aww SAD, it's probably the last time JOY is joining our G12 cuz she mostly going to a G12 nearer to NTU... so BYE BYE... hehe Monday, August 06, 2007 ok.... I found this one on tpjc.net Dear HR Manager Bob Smith, my assistant programmer, can always be found hard at work in his cubicle. Bob works independently, without wasting company time talking to colleagues. Bob never thinks twice about assisting fellow employees, and he always finishes given assignments on time. Often Bob takes extended measures to complete his work, sometimes skipping coffee breaks. Bob is a dedicated individual who has absolutely no vanity in spite of his high accomplishments and profound knowledge in his field. I firmly believe that Bob can be classified as a high-calibre employee, the type which cannot be dispensed with. Consequently, I duly recommend that Bob be promoted to executive management, and a proposal will be sent away as soon as possible. Signed - Project Leader A SEPARATE, PRIVATE MEMO WAS SENT SOON FOLLOWING THE ABOVE APPRAISAL : "That stupid idiot was reading over my shoulder when I wrote the report sent to you earlier today. Kindly read only the odd lines ( 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 ) for my true assessment of him. " Signed - Project Leader HAHA Saturday, August 04, 2007 Recently found this video on Youtube!
