Now remain in my love. If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. This is my command: Love each other. John 15:9-17 __________________ Love is such a simple thing and yet a complicated issue. It is simple to show it and yet hard for us to show it. Just imagine, if everyone was just to show a simple love, this world will be a better place. But men sin, and fall short of the glory of God... That is probably why it is sometime difficult to love like how God love us. For God so loved this world that He gave his one and only Son to carry our sins and to die for them on that old rugged cross so that we may live. There's no greater love than this. God, help me to learn this love. To love my friends and even foes to the point that I will lay down my life down for them. Indeed, Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. Wednesday, June 13, 2007 BACK FYI... My bro's BACK!!! Yay... He's back from London for his break... He will only return back there in september And... He got longer hair now! My New Recording Yupyup... Bertram IS BACK with a new recorded song! Haha... Last Monday, 11 June I recorded this... It was a song that I first played during a church event called "Christmas Rock" in 2003 Very Nice Song... Credits:- Guitars- Me Syn Bass- Me Drums- Me Vocal- Me Wahaha... One man show As again... Please forgive my horrible voice... And the music abit out and not equally sounded... Hold It Up To The Light by Bertram Goh It's the choice of a life-time, I'm almost sure I will not live my life in-between anymore If I can't be for certain of all that's in store This far it feels so right I will hold it up Hold it up to the light Hold it up to the light The search for my future has brought me here This is more than I'd hoped for but sometimes I fear That the choice I was made for would someday appear And I'll be too late for that flight I will hold it up Hold it up to the light Hold it up to the light Hold it up to the light I said, God, will You bless this decision I'm scared, is my life at stake? But I know, if You gave me a vision Would I never have reason to use my faith? Now as soon as I'm moving, my choice is good This way comes through right where I prayed that it would If I keep my eyes open and look where I should Somehow all of the signs are in sight If I hold it up to the light It's too late, to be stopped at the crossroads Each life here, each possible way But wait, and they all will be lost roads Each path's growing shorter the longer I stay I was dead with deciding, afraid to choose I was mourning the loss of the choices I'd lose But there's no choice at all if I don't make my move And trust that the timing is right I will hold it up Hold it up to the light Hold it up to the light Hold it up to the light... Sunday, June 10, 2007 Firstly... I didn't had HOF practice today afternoon because I'm not on duty on friday... yay!!! So when I'm not on duty, where do I go? Eat better food of course! This is to make all those who are stuck with bee hoon every week jealous! Wahaha... JK After the english service... Went to eat the "better lunch"! Haha... I heard my father went to eat at a good italian restaurant so I asked him whether can go there eat. I didn't know the restaurant was in a hotel lah... yupyup, at Changi Village Hotel Anyway, the restaurant was close <--- Aww, Sadded :( So we went to eat at the hotel's international buffet!!! BUFFET LEHZ!!! Haha, got very nice food. Got Nasi Bryani, Roti Prata, Pasta, Laksa, Satay, Prawn Mee... Really INTERNATIONAL Buffet... Better than bee hoon!!! :) Dang... The sound system in the main service today was blown man! Half of the power supplied to the sound mixer was blown off... Only the main microphone was able to sound through the house speakers for chinese service then in the english service, only the microphones and keyboards were projected in the house! The best thing is in front of me is a sound proof shield to prevent my loud drum sound from projected out but it also prevented sound from coming in... Although the top of the drum is not covered so the drums can still be heard.. But I can't hear the rest of the musicians... Dang So I was really playing deaf... Haha, a really weird sensation.... |
