Recently, I was trying to pen down some lyrics...
Psalms 8 still have a deep impression in me
And I wanted to compose something to show "Who Am I"
Who Am I on this Earth?

Hey readers...
Wow...
The past week had been really, really HOT!!!
Yea, and I mean the weather...
It's hot and humid, even in the night!
It was so hard sleeping in my bunk and I would always wake up feeling sticky due to perspiration during the night.
It was worst yesterday when I had to wake up early and put on my Army No. 4 Uniform...
It was so humid that I was sweating profusely even as I just walk down the stairs to the ground floor!
Moreoever, we had to service our tanks in the afternoon under the HOT HOT sun!
It was like a slave working to build the pyramids in the hot desert of Eygpt during Moses time! (** OK, this is abit exaggerating but...)
Oh ya...
There was one night when there was a loud howling and blowing of the wind and it started to rain that night...
It was kind of scary!
A christian friend of mine in camp said it was the rapture!
Lolz...
I slept with my blanket on thinking "Yea! It's gonna be a cooling night!"
I wake up the next morning, blanket on the floor and my body full of sweat.
DANG!
The weather in the morning was still hot and humid :/

I am reading Psalm for my daily devotion now and one night I came across this passage which God left a deep impression in me...

3 When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
4 what is man that you are mindful of him,
the son of man that you care for him?
5 You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings
and crowned him with glory and honor.
6 You made him ruler over the works of your hands;
you put everything under his feet:
7 all flocks and herds,
and the beasts of the field,
8 the birds of the air,
and the fish of the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.
9 O LORD, our Lord,

Wow...
It's been very, very, very LONG since I blogged...
GERMANY
I'll be flying to Germany on the 28th...
And no, it will not be for holiday but for Military Training...
Since Germany is where the Leopard Tanks originated from, they have special facilities which will enhance our training... Something that can't be done here or in Ex Wallaby in Australia...
And since its for Military Training, I'm not really that enthusiatic about going there...
But I think it's gonna be quite cool to operate the tank there...
Finally we may be able to use the heater in the tank (yea... there's a heater in the tank! No Air-con, but a HEATER!... At least there's also a lousy fan which help improve the condition by 1%)
Will be flying Lufthansa...
And guess what! NO IN-FLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT!!!
Only a lousy projector in front of the cabin showing "I don't know what"
13 Hours flight...
Will be stopping at Munich first, then taking a domestic flight to Hamburg...
FICKLE MINDED?
Not sure if the words Fickle Minded fits in this situation
Recently, I learn something from the experience I got from the Army...
When you are bored, free with nothing to do... PLAY PSP!
Been playing alot nowadays and am so called a fan of the PlayStation Portable now...
However, I'm seriously not a Gamer... was never, am never and will never be...
This is where I call myself "fickle minded"...
For the past few months, I have played dozens of games...
From Call of Duty to Monster Hunter 2, from Sims 2:Castaways to the DJ max series...
Played many but only completed one so far- Ace Combat 10...
The reason why I can finish that game is because the story mode of that game was quite short...
Only 6-7 missions and I completed it in a week...
My interest in a game is seriously short...
Just last week, I was engrossed in Phastasy Star (an RPG game)...
This week was Patapon 2...
I rate this game quite highly because it's really quite fun!
One of the best game I've played...
Hopefully I can complete the game (by reaching Earth-end) and my interest in this game should last quite long... Especially since I'm going Germany and bringing my PSP along...
Anyway, that's all for me...

Just wanna THANK GOD
Last week was IPPT...
First IPPT of the year!
And I've got a SILVER!
Haha... I was very very HAPPY
After Ex Wallaby, my fitness went down alot...
What's more? I gain some weight!
But I was still able to pull through and get that silver...
YEAHness...
Now all that's left is SOC...
Oh ya...
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY
to everyone...
HAPPY S.A.D. (Single Awareness Day)
to singles like myself... LOLz
and
HAPPY TOTAL DEFENCE DAY!

Hey readers...
Not too sure whether people are still following this blog but anyway...
PRIMARY SCHOOL GATHERING
Yea... Met up with some of my primary school classmate yesterday- namely Gina, Xu Hui, May, Chi Leng, Liwei, Xing Wei and Hui Min...
I'm actually quite grateful that so long after we graduated that we are still meeting up!
Went to bugis beach road area to have steamboat...
Chit-chatted and got up to what each of us were doing...
Haha... After that we walked all the way to One Fullerton...
And on the way, guess who I met coincidentally!
Haha... My secondary school classmates!
LOL
Saw Joey, Amanda, Jacquelin, Qian Hui, Charlie...
Haha, they were celebrating Jacq's BDay and Amanda did invited me...
But Gina invited me for steamboat much earlier!
Felt kind of bad not attending her birthday celebration especially since we're classmate for 5 years! (sec 2- J2)
I was very shocked to meet them...
I mean, what was the odd of that happening?!
So yea, we talked for a while and I returened back to my primary school friends and continued our walk to One Fullerton...

Sorry, have not been blogging for quite a while...
Been rather lazy lately...
FIRSTLY,
HAPPY 牛 YEAR!!!
yea, in times of economic woes and whatever challenges that we may face this year...
May God still grant all of us prosperity and a renewed hope!
Just came back from reunion from my grandmother's house...
Reunion with Ah ma, Ah kim... couz and some relatives...
Haha, played sparklers which make me feel like a 10 yo again!
Just some updates...
I BOUGHT A NEW LAPTOP!
Yeahness!!!
It's a Fujitsu Lifebook E8420P...
My old laptop is really a bust!
so it was time to change...
Just couldn't wait til I enter my university then buy a new laptop...
And this laptop is quite powerful man!
Intel Core 2 Processor running at 2.53GHz, 4GB of Ram, etc...
So the real purpose of this laptop currently is to do some of my personal recordings and to create some drum loops...
STILL IN THE ARMY!
Yah... Another 11 months...
Just stayed back the saturday before last because we had live firing on that day...
Somemore, slept on the tanks in OUTFIELD the previous night!
Thank God, no mosquito!
After my CNY break, heard that IPPT is coming up soon and we are gonna have a company exercise in Singapore before heading our way to GERMANY to enhance our training...
No worries, this trip would be shorter than the Ex Wallaby one...

I'm back from Barcelona...
It was sad that the trip was just TOO SHORT!
Still got so many things to do there...
Somemore, one day was the new year holiday and many attractions and shops were closed that day...
Haiz...
But I ♥ Barcelona...
Very nice place...
Now It's Back To Reality...
Gosh... Back to the Army tonight...
And I really need to exercise man...
I probably grown fatter during the trip...
But nevermind, I'm sure the vigourous regime in the army will keep in back on track =)
