(** OK, this is abit exaggerating but...)<br /><br />Oh ya...<br />There was one night when there was a loud howling and blowing of the wind and it started to rain that night...<br />It was kind of <strong><span style="font-size:130%;color:#3366ff;">scary</span></strong>!<br />A christian friend of mine in camp said it was the rapture!<br /><strong><span style="font-size:130%;color:#ffcc00;">Lolz</span></strong>...<br />I slept with my blanket on thinking "Yea! Something that can't be done here or in Ex Wallaby in Australia...<br /><br />And since its for Military Training, I'm not really that enthusiatic about going there...<br />But I think it's gonna be quite cool to operate the tank there...<br />Finally we may be able to use the heater in the tank (yea... there's a heater in the tank! No Air-con, but a HEATER!... - it was really no joke!<br /><br />******************<br /><br />Another big thing is the <strong><span style="font-size:130%;color:#000099;">CHANGE</span></strong> in me - <span style="font-size:130%;color:#663333;"><strong>PHYSICALLY</strong></span><br />Yeah, Thanks to the Army "Fitness Centre"- LOLZ-<br />I was able to slim down to my "ideal" weight, have a slimmer look, and be physically fitter too!<br />And if you have been wondering how much weight I lost?!<br />Well.... I usually don't tell people the exact figures and only say "ALOT!"<br />But I think I gonna reveal to you here...<br /><br />Weight before Army( taken on 15 December 2007, just before I enlist) - BUT we never go for that one.... LOLZ, all of us like ran away from that...<br />We also did not go for our college's national day in the hall... I heard my father went to eat at a good italian restaurant so I asked him whether can go there eat.<br />I didn't know the restaurant was in a hotel lah... yupyup, at Changi Village Hotel<br />Anyway, the restaurant was close <--- Aww, Sadded :(<br />So we went to eat at the hotel's international buffet!!!<br />BUFFET LEHZ!!!<br />Haha, got very nice food. Got Nasi Bryani, Roti Prata, Pasta, Laksa, Satay, Prawn Mee... Really INTERNATIONAL Buffet...<br />Better than bee hoon!!! :)<br /><br />Dang...<br />The sound system in the main service today was blown man!<br />Half of the power supplied to the sound mixer was blown off...<br />Only the main microphone was able to sound through the house speakers for chinese service then in the english service, only the microphones and keyboards were projected in the house!<br />The best thing is in front of me is a sound proof shield to prevent my loud drum sound from projected out but it also prevented sound from coming in... Although the top of the drum is not covered so the drums can still be heard..<br />But I can't hear the rest of the musicians... Stress! He's debut for TKK tomorrow</li><li>1045- 1130- Drum lesson with Jared- Stress again! Haiz..<br />I really like my new blogskin.<br />Hope You like it too =)<br /><br /><strong>BLOOD DONATION</strong><br />I went to donate my blood at my school's drive donation last tuesday, 3rd April.<br />It was a very cool experience and I felt so satisfied donating blood. <---- I don't know why.<br /><br />Before the whole blood donation thing, I was so excited to go and donate blood. <---- I don't know why again.<br />But when I was in the hall (that's where the drive was held), I began to feel nervous but still rather happy.<br />Honestly, I wasn't afraid of the pain from the huge needle that will be inserted to suck out my blood. I was super afraid about the finger prick test.<br />You must be thinking- "Are You joking?"<br />Well... When I was in Primary 5, I had this finger prick thingy to test my blood. I was so scared that I cried even before that instrument was anywhere near me. I still remembered I felt lots of pain.<br />Then the moment of my fear came.<br />I went to the nurse and happily said, "I am super scared of this. Is it painful?"<br />She laughed and said it is just like a stampler stampled into your finger.<br />Wow... Like that will relieve me.<br />Then I prayed hard and stared hard at that moment when she will prick my finger.<br />"Crank" and soon I saw blood oozing out of my finger.<br />I was like "What? That's all".<br />Lolz... I at first thought she miss or nothing lor because I really felt no pain.<br />Thank God<br /><br />Then waited for my turn to donate blood.<br />My turn came to lie on that chair and waited for the nurse while she prepares.<br />Got lots of support from friends who was going to donate blood too and some band friends.<br />The most painful part of the whole donation was probably the injection of the anaesthetic. (did I spell this correctly?). The needle felt like very stick when it was inserted and when I was injected, got this stinging sensation but it is really not that painful.<br />Then finally the huge needle got inserted and blood started channelling into the bag.<br />Finally after the whole donation, I did not felt dizzy or sleepy. I felt so fine.<br />Even after that, I took a GP test, walk home from school(Well, its not really that far-probably just 1.2 km.), next day I still ran for my school's track and field heats... I'm still feeling great.<br />Thank God I had no dramatic effects.<br /><br /><strong>GOOD FRIDAY</strong><br />It is a day of remembrance of the death of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on that cross, beaering all our sins. I'm sick with the flu<br />Was sneezing like crazy yesterday man.<br />Today never go to school, its nice staying at home.<br /><span style="font-size:130%;"></span><br /><span style="font-size:130%;"><strong>BAND CAMP</strong></span><br />Band Camp was fun man.<br />Thanks to everyone for making this band camp a success.<br />Started on Friday 16 March with games in the morning.<br />Thanks to Justine, Yu Ying and Ruth for planning games and those last minute games.<br />Sectionals and Combine practice was in the afternoon.<br />Combine practice was in the auditorium to "feel" how we would play for this saturday's concert.<br />Then had catered food for dinner. Dang... Had the "panorama" food again... Yucks...Lolz<br />Had concert rehearsal in the auditorium at night with the alumni band. Dr Lee was still unsatisfied with our playing. Time to harder guys.<br />After a record timing of 10 mins of shifting everything from the audi back to the band room, was the night walk.<br />Haha... The night walk was a blindfold walk starting from band room all the way to the tracks near the tennis court.<br />Shower at night, bought macdonalds at 2am <--- Lolx<br />I slept at 4am but heard lots did not sleep that night.<br />We arranged the band room back to the original position first thing in the morning. Then had breakfast and after sectionals.<br />With that... We break camp.<br /><span style="font-size:130%;"></span><br /><strong><span style="font-size:130%;">SERVICE LEARNING</span></strong><br />We invited students from Northlight School to participate in our Service Learning Project.<br />Northlight School is catered for students who failed their PSLE at least twice, aging from 14-18 yo, and so the purpose of our service learning was to boost their morale to carry on in education.<br />I was in the dance & drama team.<br />Yeah I know, you can't imagine me dancing or acting... Neither can I... wahaha<br />The aims of the dance &amp; drama was to give them confidence to express themselves.<br />The other programme that the kids had was Sports &amp; Games.<br /><br />I was talking to a few students during the lunch break and I asked some about what was their ambitions for now.<br />I was touched to hear that one wanted to be a lawyer and another wanted to be a scientist.<br />I mean, they failed PSLE twice but they still have big dreams to pursue.
